I am trying this thing out. Is it better than Twitter?

I guess that depends on what you consider "better". There are some features here that Twitter is seriously lacking, yet there are more of "our" network at the other place. I believe this one has more "potential" if we could get the masses here.
Gotta second what Rich said. This seems to have more options, some feed and channel features, etc., but a) I know more people on Twitter, and b) I can Twitter from my phone via SMS without an additional (international) charge.
As madpoet mentioned, the SMS feature is the BIGGEST benefit to Twitter for me at this point. And I don't use it often, but often enough to want it available.
